Jamboree Overview
The Allan Gray Orbis Foundation invests in the education and development of individuals with entrepreneurial potential within Southern Africa. We do so because we believe that these curious, driven and responsibly minded young people are capable of significantly, positively and permanently impacting the economic lives of the communities, cities and possibly even the country they operate in.
The Foundation takes a holistic approach to entrepreneurship development and there are three critical aspects: the person in whom we cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset, the practice of developing entrepreneurial skills and competencies and the context of understanding the African and global ecosystems.
Our goal for Jamboree 2024 is to create an inspiring and engaging experience that not only encourages our programme participants to solve everyday problems but also broadens their perspective on entrepreneurship as a viable career path.

- From Church Square
- Head east on Church Square toward Mutual St
- Keep right to stay on Church Square
- Turn left onto Paul Kruger St
- Turn left at the 2nd cross street onto Francis Baard Street
- Turn right at the 1st cross street onto Thabo Sehume St
- Continue onto Willow Rd
- Turn right onto Nelson Mandela Dr/M3
- Take the ramp onto Nelson Mandela Dr/M3/M5
- At roundabout, take 1st exit onto Nelson Mandela Dr/R21
- Keep left to stay on R21
- Turn left onto 1st Rd
- Turn right onto View Point Rd
- Continue for 150m, Birchwood is on the right hand side
- Turn left onto North Rand Road
- Turn right on First Road.
- Take the second exit on the round about.
- Follow the road and turn right in to Viewpoint Road.
- The entrance will be on your right.
FROM SANDTON to BIRCHWOOD
- Get on Pretoria Main Rd/Ml from Katherine SW85
- Head south on Stella St toward 5th St
- Turn left onto 5th St
- Turn left onto Katherine SW85
- Turn right to merge onto Grayston Dr/M40
- Merge onto Pretoria Main Rd/M1 via the ramp to N1/Pretoria
- Take exit 1048 for N3 toward Germiston/Durban/N12
- Keep right at the fork and merge onto N3 Eastern Bypass/N3
- At the interchange, 113-Gillooly’s, keep left and follow signs for R24 E/N12 toward OR Tambo International Airport/Witbank
- Merge onto N12/R24
- Keep right at the fork, follow signs for M41/Rondebult Rd
- Continue on Rondebult Rd
- Turn left onto Margaret Ave/Rondebult Rd (signs for M41/Boksburg/Rondebult Rd)
- Turn left onto North Rand Rd/M44
- Turn right on First Road.
